"As a Christ-centered, bible-based ministry for men,
Pivot's mission is to treat drug and alcohol addiction as a spiritual problem,
and to return the men to their families whole."
 
The word "Pivot" means "a point of turning". Since 1970 Pivot Ministries has been making that turning point available to troubled men who desire to turn away from the bondage of drug and alcohol addiction.      
Pivot Ministries is a Christ centered, Bible based ministry. We provide a spiritual answer to an addiction problem. Lives are changed once this spiritual dimension is addressed. Pivot Ministries first opened its doors in 1970. Since then, hundreds of men have been set free from their addictions and are now living drug and alcohol-free lives.
The men who come to Pivot come seeking a new way of life. Pivot is known as a place of safety and sanctuary for men in trouble. The healing the men experience is through the power of Jesus Christ. The healing process consists of acceptance, discipline and structure in a supportive, loving atmosphere. 
The men's physical, mental, emotional and spiritual needs are met through:
  • Professional counseling
  • Bible classes addressing topics such as:
    • Anger and Personal Rights
    • Love and Accepting Myself
    • Growing through Failure
    • Successful Christian Living
    • Temptation
    • Spiritual sharing and prayer
  • Recreational activities
