Women’s Groups
COMMUNITY BIBLE STUDY (CBS) DAY CLASS: 9:30-11:30 Tuesday mornings. We will be studying the Book of Acts. Community Bible Study, an interdenominational Bible study for women. We meet Tuesday mornings thru May 15th. The Greenwich CBS Day class has an incredible program for children, infant thru kindergarten. Go to www.communitybiblestudy.org for more information.
BOOK CLUB: The group meets the 2nd Wednesday of the month from 7-8pm. Please call Sue Curry with any questions like location and current book at 203-461-8300.
TUESDAY MORNING BIBLE STUDY: This study runs every Tuesday morning. We will rotate houses throughout the year. This year we will be doing a 13 week study by N.T. Wright on lst Corinthians. The cost of the books will be $6.25 Please contact Happy at 203.637.9428 or papphap@optonline.net.
MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers): MOPS is an international Christian organization dedicated to meeting the particular needs of mothers of young children. The goal of MOPS is to nurture all mothers of preschoolers by reaching out with encouragement and support and also by offering leadership opportunities. MOPS will meet on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month thru May 16h at the Presbyterian Church of Old Greenwich. We warmly welcome everyone with children between the ages of 0 to 5, including children in Kindergarten. To cover the cost of supplies, MOPS participation fees, refreshments, etc. we do need to collect dues. Men’s Groups
BAGELS AND BIBLE: "As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another" Proverbs 27:17 (NIV) Saturday mornings from 7:00a -8:30a. Participation requires only that you show up with your Bible.. .no preparation and no homework. We promise no embarrassing questions!!! Each week's study will be self-contained, so you can come whenever you are available, without having to have been to any previous studies. Call the church office for location.
MEN’S SMALL GROUP: Small group Friday mornings 7:30-8:30. The group will meet every other Friday. Meet at PCOG. The group will begin with a discussion of what God might have us do in light of the scripture passage used in worship the previous Sunday… the main aspect of the group will be transparently doing life together… For more questions please see Bill Gestal.
Couples Groups
COUPLES SMALL GROUP: This group will meet every other Tuesday night. The participating couples will determine their most desirable study topic together. For more information, or to sign up, please call to Thomas Cicatelli at 203-531-6277.
ALPHA MARRIAGE SMALL GROUP: The aim of The Marriage Course is to help couples grow closer and build a healthy relationship that will last a lifetime. Wednesday’s at 7pm at PCOG and runs for 7 weeks. Over seven sessions of the course you will discover practical tools to help you: understand each other's needs, communicate more effectively, grow closer through resolving conflict, heal the ways you've hurt each other, recognize how your upbringing affects your relationship, improve relationships with parents and in-laws, develop greater sexual intimacy, discover each other's love languages and much, much more! Coed Groups
COMMUNITY BIBLE STUDY (CBS) NIGHT CLASS: "Please join us; it's a great time of study and fellowship." We meet from 7:15-9pm, here at PCOG on Monday nights. This years study will be the Gospel of John No childcare is available for this group. KINGDOM IGNITERS; BACK TO BASICS: This group will read the classic Christian book, "The Celebration of Discipline; The path to Spiritual Growth" by Richard Foster. The group will will meet every 1st, 3rd and 5th Sunday of every month, from ll:30am-lpm, after church.
